Its a wonderful and reasonably clean hotel, rooms are neat and functional. It has reasonably good and outstanding breakfasts and outstandingly accommodating staff from the the house cleaners to management. The location is marvellous and unbeatable, 1 mile from South Beach Park. The main bar is lively.

This place had a good-sized unit with a balcony and a view of the volleyball court, and it was located close to the beach just a short walk away.

Location: the hotel was right by the beach / bars. And it was within a close distance from The Waterway Room, ate there couple of times.

Excellent location if you go to the Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal (15' away, if there is no traffic, and you can hire a hotel shuttle, which is cheaper than a taxi if you go only two people. Ask for hours at the front desk). 15' walk to the beach and restaurant area, although you can also take a free shuttle service offered by the hotel or a regular line, with a stop next to the hotel. It has a Walgreens and gas station shop very close by. Nice views from the terrace of the main building, as well as the common areas of this building. Nice garden with an outdoor swimming pool. Good value for money. Very complete bathroom amenities. Large room and comfortable beds.
We didn't know, we booked, that the room we were in was outside the main building and, being that we were heavily loaded with luggage, it was a bit labyrinthine to get there (despite the indications at reception, few signs and you have to go through the garden), with little light at night) and somewhat heavy dragging the bags a good stretch, to a kind of terraced bungalow, was where our room was, with many signs of lack of maintenance (peeling walls and furniture, curtains with holes or tears, bathtub with rust stains.. When you click on the hotel photos or room description. you get only those of the main building, you don't expect such an "old" room, since it was only one night and room was clean and spacious (except for the closet which smelled awful, mixture of bad foot odor and humidity, so we didn't put anything in it), we didn't complain,

The breakfast buffet was very simple, no variety, but the restaurant very comfortable and the staff very friendly.
